I am obsessed with trying new DIY things from hair masks, to face masks, lip balms, homemade deodorant, laundry detergents, seriously anything. I don’t like to spend a lot of money on things that I can do myself and without the harsh chemicals that contain most of the store bought products.
I know that having a healthy hair is not an easy task and hair masks are always highly recommended and essential to cope with systemic problems and repair damaged hair.Other thing I know is that by using a mask for damaged and dry hair, you choose one of the best methods that work in your favor to restore the strength of your hair.
A very common situation where the hair is easily broken, it splits at the ends and is generally very dry, has an extremely bad influence on the overall look of your hair. I can say that our hair actually shows who we are, what we eat, how we live and what our habits are. Our lifestyle determines the overall appearance of our hair and if there are any systemic problems, it is necessary to undergo the appropriate treatment in order to restore our health balance as soon as possible, thus improving the good look of our hair.

I researched a lot over the years and have tested different homemade masks for damaged hair.
Today I want to share with you two of my favorite masks that I’ve tried so far.
How to Repair Damaged Hair:
Hair mask for dry hair
You will need:
- an egg,
- a tablespoon of vinegar and
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients and massage your scalp first, and then the entire length of hair. Use a comb to distribute the mask evenly.
Leave it for about 15 minutes, then rinse well and apply appropriate shampoo for dry hair in order to wash it thoroughly.
You can use this mask twice a week to achieve even greater results. Be consistent for at least two months and try to regain the previous healthy look of your hair.
Hair mask for damaged hair
You will need:
- 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt,
- a teaspoon of thistle oil (where to buy) and
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
Mix all the ingredients and rub the mask thoroughly in your hair. Leave it for 15 minutes to soak well and then wash your hair with shampoo for damaged hair.
Note: Try to eat healthier on a daily basis and you will soon notice huge improvements.
